Hi April, I came across your blog when I was trying to find out about the American Baby contest. Like your daughter was last year, my daughter is a semi-finalist this year. I am in such suspense now that the finalist-announcing deadline has passed and there's been no word....so I was wondering, were you ever notified by them that your daughter was not chosen? I want to know either way, but am not sure if they only tell winners. Thanks so much for reading this, and your daughter should have won - she's adorable! =)

I was notified via email that Lily was not chosen as a finalist. It was several days after the notification deadline. I know exactly how you are feeling right now...the waiting was brutal!!
Thank you so much for responding. I, along with another semi-finalist mother who happened to find me via google, have been trying to figure out what's going on! Maybe there is still hope for our little ones. I appreciate the info, hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday!!
